Victoria – Dental Assistant/Business Assistant

Victoria brings over a decade of experience to the practice and has been a dental assistant for over seven years and a dental office manager for two. She also attended school at Southern Vermont College. She enjoys working alongside an amazing team and maintaining a flexible work-life balance.

Victoria is originally from Litchfield, Connecticut, but moved to Brunswick, New York, where her husband recently built a home for them to raise their two (soon to be three!) children. In her free time, Victoria enjoys gardening, going on walks, doing yoga, and spending time with her family. An interesting fact about her is that she’s vegetarian.  

Lesley – Business Assistant

Lesley earned her Associate Degree in Applied Science from Hudson Valley Community College and is CPR-certified. She brings several years of experience with her to the practice and loves getting to know all of the patients the team sees. She also enjoys working with a fantastic team of professionals.

Lesley grew up in Schenectady, New York and has been married for 17 years. She has a teenage son and loves being a mom! In her free time, she enjoys crafting and making art, as well as spending time outdoors and swimming. An interesting fact about Lesley is that she likes to try foods from different cultures.

Amanda – Practice Manager of Operations

Amanda is the Practice Manager of Operations at Capital Smiles and boasts over 15 years of experience in the dental field. She attended DeVry University and has spent several years of her career in different specialty offices, allowing her to grow and expand her knowledge and skillsets. Her favorite part of her job is being able to help patients achieve their smile goals.

Amanda grew up in Rochester, New York, and her family consists of her husband and their pack of cats! Her and her husband spent the first three years of their marriage living in Ecuador, where he’s from, before coming to the US and settling down in Schenectady. In her free time, her and her husband volunteer helping others in the Spanish community learn about the Bible. They also take online classes at local colleges to expand their knowledge together! An interesting fact about Amanda is that she has three cats that are still in Ecuador and one here.

Dawn – Dental Hygienist

Dawn brings over 25 years of dental experience to our team, and she is passionate about educating our patients to improve their oral hygiene, empowering them to take great care of their teeth between appointments. She began her career as a dental assistant before eventually graduating from hygiene school through Hudson Valley Community College.

A Schenectady native, Dawn is married with three children and seven grandchildren! She loves to grill with family and friends, dance whenever she can, and cheer on the Dallas Cowboys.

Denise – Dental Assistant

With well over two decades of experience in the dental field, Denise regularly takes continuing education courses to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and standards of care in dental assisting. Her favorite part of her job is working alongside a great dentist.

Originally from Town of Florida, Denise is the mom of two beautiful teenage girls. Whenever she isn’t at the practice, she enjoys camping, bike riding, going on walks, fostering dogs, and working at two different dog rescues. An interesting fact about Denise is that she loves working with patients and doing what she can to make their experience positive.
